Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc | White Wine | 12% | 75cl| 13,450.00
Description

The name Casillero del Diablo which translates to The Devils Cellar was born from a rumour which the founder of Viña Concha y Toro started when he set aside a small selection of his best wines and found out that some of them were getting stolen, to protect them. Rumour had it that the Devil lived in his cellar, hence the name. Made from the sensational Sauvignon Blanc white wine grapes of Chile from vineyards located a few kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, the straw-yellow with soft green coloured Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc white wine has a refreshing style with aromas of peach and redcurrant. The proximity to the sea helps to moderate temperatures particularly in the summer and this ensures the freshness of the Sauvignon Blanc. It is fermented in tanks of stainless steel and has citric and fresh aromas hinting at gooseberry, peach, and tropical fruit. On the palate, it is round, gentle, and has crisp acidity.
